H1N1 Vaccine

While there will be no more H1N1 clinics held on campus, the vaccine is still available to members of the USI community in the Student Health Center. Ages six months and up may receive a free injection vaccination.

The Student Health Center is located in Room 0091 in the lower level of the Health Professions Center. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. No appointment is necessary.

Budget Hearings

The Universities annual budget hearing will be held Feb. 5 in Carter Hall in the University Center from 8:15 am to 9:30 am for the President's Office, the College of Nursing and Health Professions, the College of Science and Engineering, and devolopment.

Budget hearings for Athletic Information, the Faculty Senate, and the College of Business will be held Feb. 8 in Carter Hall  from 2:30 pm to 3:25 pm.

All budget hearings are open to the USI community and are free of charge.

Campus Resources Presentation

As part of Academic Skills' Success Series workshop, Joellen Bush will be offering help to students confused about who to talk to or where to go when a problem arises.  The workshop will outline many of USI's resources and help students in accessing them in times of need.This is a no-cost event, for more information contact Lori Saxby by phone at 812-464-1743 or email at lsaxby@usi.edu

U.S. Holocaust Museum Traveling Exhibition

A traveling exhibition is making its way through USI starting Feb. 10 and ending March 19 in Rice Library.  The exhibition is part of the US Holocaust Museum that offers a look at the actions of the Nazis in the 1930s and their attempts to stifle the freedom of expression and America's reaction to that suppression. 

The exhibit includes images of period documents, along with film, video, and newsreel footage. The exhibition is free and open to the public during regular library hours.
