SpringFest tickets on sale

    Tickets are now on sale for this year’s SpringFest that is taking place Apr. 9 and 10. Tickets may be purchased individually for Luke Bryan at $15 for students and $20 for non-students and individually for Motion City Soundtrack at $20 for students and $25 for non-students.  Combo packages are available at $30 for students and $40 for non-students.
    Tickets may be purchased in the USI Bookstore or online at www.usi.edu/book, look for the scrolling link that reads ‘Buy Concert Tickets Here’.  There is a one-time convience fee of $5 for purchases made online.  Tickets will be on sale until the day of the event.

Tri-State Science and Engineering Fair

The Pott College of Science & Engineering is sponsoring the Tri-State Science and Engineering Fair.  On Mar. 12 from 9 am to 4 pm there will be a free public exhibition of the various projects students grades 4-12 have have organized.  The awards ceremony for the exhibitions will take place in Mitchell Auditorium in the Health Professions Center at 6:30 pm.

 

Also taking place from 11:00 pm to 11:45 pm will be a chemisty presentation by USI Chemistry Professor Jeff Seyler in room 1011 of the Education Center.

Meet the Democratic candidates

Students and the USI community have the chance to talk and meet Democratic candidates in the area.  In Rice Library Mar. 16 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, people may meet and talk with State Sen. Bob Deig, Rep. Gail Riecken, Rep. Trent Van Haaften, Vanderburgh County Sheriff Eric Williams, Commissioner Troy Tornatta, and County Councilman Royce Sutton.  The meet and greet will be organized like a town hall meeting giving attendees the opportunity to ask questions and discuss upcoming November elections and key issues.
